Tragic Fog-Related Accidents Claim Lives Across Punjab

In a series of tragic accidents across Punjab, ten individuals lost their lives and 21 others sustained injuries due to dense fog on Tuesday. The incidents occurred in various districts, highlighting the perilous conditions on the roads.

A collision near Kamalia Sugar Mills involved a bus, car, and motorcycle, resulting in four fatalities, including Muhammad Mansha, his wife Mumtaz Parveen, and their daughter Mahnoor. Rescue 1122 reported that the bus, traveling at high speed, collided with the car while overtaking tractor-trolleys.

In Jhang, a truck collided with a parked pick-up in foggy conditions, critically injuring four. Meanwhile, a collision on the Indus Highway in Dera Ghazi Khan resulted in three deaths and ten injuries due to fog.

These incidents underscore the ongoing challenges of road safety in Pakistan, particularly during foggy conditions. As the region braces for more fog, authorities are urged to implement stricter safety measures to prevent further tragedies.
